We had the opportunity to introduce Lillian to my best friends newest addition to her family!  Great times indeed!  Brandi is a special friend I've had for the past 13 years....So excited to see her family grow!  God is good:)

Father's Day

Finally getting around to updating the blog with Father's Day pictures.  The best gift of all for Tony was their bath time fun:)  Lillian just giggled at her Daddy's silly faces and silly noises while kicking and splashing away.  I heard Tony laughing at her from downstairs.  It was a precious moment and Tony said, "This is the best Father's Day gift ever".  Here's a few pictures of Father/Daughter time on Tony's special day.



Second Sunday at Church

She slept through the service again....this is us after we got home from eating lunch at J Alexanders.  I'm posting this because the dress Lillian is wearing was my cousins.  My Aunt brought it to me to borrow as a special sentimental heirloom~Thank you Aunt Gaynell!



First Day of Day Care

As a new mother this has been a bitter sweet morning.  My baby girl left with Daddy to go to her first day at Day Care.  I thought I had prepared myself for this morning, but I did get teary eyed when Tony pulled out of the driveway.  And then since they've been gone I haven't sat down for too long because I miss her so much already.  I keep looking in her bassinet out of habit, but she's not there:(  I thought I would crash and get some sleep as soon as they left, but that hasn't happened yet. Here are the pics we took this morning to document this monumental day. (I just woke up in the pic below, so excuse the no make-up and great morning hair-do:) ha! )

 Almost out of sight and Mommy is sad...but, what an exciting new phase of Lillian's life!  I find comfort that her day care is such a great place and the people there have been fabulous in getting us prepared for our first day!

I start back to work Monday (6/13) and went back and forth on whether or not to send Lillian to day care this week or not.  Daddy was wanting us to get our schedule/routine in order these 3 days that I have left when I will not be needing to get ready for work.  This morning went smoothly.  She had her bottle just before leaving. I had everything packed and ready to go, so once she finished eating we took the pictures you see above and got her in Tony's truck.

A Few New Pics of Lillian

This was taken after her first church service, which was Music Sunday (how appropriate).  It really made me miss singing in the choir! She did great though...slept the whole time.  Just glad we weren't "those" people with a screaming baby in church service:)

 Daddy comes home from work missing his baby girl.  So, they watch tv together (Lillian really does look at the tv, probably because of the light and contrasting colors, but Dad thinks she already likes sports:)).  They both fell asleep this particular afternoon....too sweet!
