Labor Day

Fun times at home on Labor Day!

Lillian's first Game Day!!!

Since the UA game was at 11:00 and it was 100 degrees outside, we decided to sell our tickets to the game and chill at the house!  We did go to a friends for the Bama game just to get out for a bit, but we came home afterwards and enjoyed some "down" time!  Of course Lillian will be wearing 2 outfits almost every Saturday since we are a house divided, but she looks pretty cute in whatever she wears.  Other than the outcome of the UGA game, it was a great day:-)

Lillian's Christening...and much more

August 28th, 2011 was a big day!  Lillian was Christened at Riverchase United Methodist Church by Dr. Jim Savage and Tony joined the church too.  It was also Nana's birthday.  So needless to say we did lots of celebrating.

*It is so special at RUMC that if you are a member of the choir and your child is Christened, they stand (see in the background).  A very special day and an overwhelming feeling:-)
Lillian wore the same gown I wore on August 31st 1980 for my Christening!
Looks like Lillian is throwing up a peace sign:-)
THE GUNTERS

Father/Daughter time

Just love this picture:-)

First Foods

Enjoy the wonderful faces of Lillian as she tastes her first "real" foods:

Carrots

Carrots seemed to be a success:-)

Peas

Not so sure about peas in the pic above....
 Let me try another bite.....
Not so bad!  ha!

I don't have pictures of all the other foods she has tried so far, but she is not a picky eater...that's for sure!  Just like her Momma and Daddy:-)  She's liked bananas, sweet potatoes, apples, pears, sqaush and peaches!  Miss Lillian is so much fun to watch grow and change every day, it seems.  Parenthood is absolutely amazing:-)
