Easter 2012

This is the first holiday that won't be Lillian's "first" any more!  Time  has really flown and another Easter has come and gone.  We had a very low key Easter holiday.  Of course, even though Lillian had no clue what Easter Egg hunting really was, we still introduced her to the fun by scattering eggs in the front yard.  She was a bit more interested in picking up sticks and leaves, but she did get a few eggs too!


This was our first picture with the Easter bunny.  We took it right before heading to the zoo for the first time too!  Tony was able to take the week before Easter off of work to have some quality time with Lillian.

Lillian's First Birthday!

I'm a little behind in my posts.  Right after we got home from our Gatlinburg trip Lillian started walking.  Yep, at 10 1/2 months she was up and moving pretty quickly!  A little clumsey at first, but she has become a pro pretty fast.  So, Tony and I have been chasing her around and making sure that we are as baby proofed as possible here at the house.  Life is busy and fun right now and Lillian is so much fun to watch as she learns new things.  She transitioned classes at day care too, so there have been lots of changes since February! 

There were literally hundreds of pictures taken at Lillian's birthday party, but here a few of my favorites!

We are so grateful for the wonderful family and friends who could join us on Lillian's special day!  It was a wonderful time. She was great the entire time and after it was all over, she took a very long and much needed nap!  Happy Birthday to our precious little girl:)
